It's all about keeping it clean!

My quirky brilliant homeware does what it says on the tin! However to keep it looking fabulous there are few tips and tricks you should know about!

I often get asked about the care and washing of my homeware and it is usually about what temperature to wash them and if the colours run or not!  Well I can safely say they are very colourfast!

As many of you already know I am the sole designer and creator of Indigo Prawn products.  I pride myself on giving my customer's the finest homwares that actually do the job well!  All my kitchen linens are high quality panama cotton printed sustainably in  in the UK with reactive inks.  Making them bright and fun but also long lasting.

The blend of lovely natural fabrics and reactive inks ensures they wash well and maintain their bright colour.  At my printer's the fabrics are coated, printed, steamed and washed and then cut to size, hemmed and sewn by an in-house team of seamstresses, all in the UK.  So always best to give them a wash to soften them up before using.

My top tips for ultimate care of my fun and fab homeware!

A little care goes a long way in keeping your favourite kitchen essentials looking bright and cheerful! 🌊  Especially the oven gloves! SO here are a few tips to doing so.

🧼 Spot clean quickly – Wipe spills as soon as they happen to avoid stubborn stains.

🧼 Top stain tip! Alternatively a great tip from a customer is to use in wash ACE Ultra liquid for colours For more info about this click here!

🧼 Wash at 40°C – Gentle yet effective for keeping them clean.

🔄 Low tumble dry or hang to dry – Avoid high heat to maintain fabric quality.

🚫 Do not wring – This helps prevent creasing and keeps the shape intact.

🔥 Iron on low heat if needed – To keep them smooth and fresh-looking.

🐟🧤Alternate gloves – Rotating between pairs can help extend their life by spreading out wear and tear!

SO Why not mix it up and get a alternate colour and design to keep you smiling!

I hope that this helps you get the very best out of my products.  Any dramas you know where to come!
